Battle of the Books
Holy Trinity Wins Again!
Battle of the Books competition hosted
by Holy Trinity Catholic School with Mrs. Tomei and Mrs. Thomas
as the coordinators was held on April 29th in school
gym.
Participating schools in grades 4th
thru 6th were Holy Trinity, Holy Child, and St. Joseph.
The teams read 10 books and were judged on 10 questions
in each 4 rounds of the competition. Congratulations
to the following winners!
1st Place: Return of the Burning
Books. Holy Trinity 5th grade students captured first
place for the second year in a row! Team included:
Joey Connolly, Rachel Kuchnicki, Brett LaBarge, Rachel
Leininger, Christian Murray, and Bobby Walker. Way
to go!
2nd Place: The Furious Five.
Holy Trinity 5th grade students had their first win
with the competition. Team included: Nick DeLisio,
Meredith Flanagan, Paris Morinville, Cece Palmer,
and Abigail Redlich. We’re proud of you!
3rd Place: Readers of the Round
Table. St. Joseph.
